It’s amazing how frequently the larger animal will know to be kind with the smaller one so that it doesn’t get wounded when two animals of very different sizes become buddies. In the animal kingdom, the jaguar has the most exquisite coat. The fact that humans haven’t hunted the jaguar to extinction merely to get that coat is somewhat astonishing. It’s an incredibly beautiful creature.
Just remember to give that jag normal food… He’ll start to think that Jack Russell looks very appetizing if he’s even the slightest bit hungry. The only large, powerful animal that can persuade a terrible Jack Russell that he has at last found an equal partner is a jaguar. The personification of “short man’s sickness” is the Jack Russell terrier.
