Dogs are known as man’s best friends for a reason and that is because they are such sociable animals that never forget a friendly face no matter how much time has passed by. The adorable poodle in our story named Rave is no different. She never forgets to greet a friend, even one she has not met for many months.
Some time back, this poodle’s human owner, Kim Carino decided on getting her pup trained. One of Kim’s brother’s friends who had experience in dog training volunteered to help the poodle and teach her to be her best version. As time passed by this trainer became more than a teacher to this doggo. They met on a weekly basis for training sessions and it was apparent that Rave adored him.
The training took place in a local park and lasted all summer. Even though Rave eventually passed her training, she never forgot the man who trained her. To the poodle, this man was similar to a friend, someone very close to her heart. 10 months later, Kim decided to meet her brother’s friend in the park with hopes of surprising Rave. To make things more interesting the friend decided to sit quietly on a bench to determine whether the dog could identify him.
The video footage of this encounter is proof that Rave remembered her trainer after all this time. Kim assumed that Rave would recognize her brother’s friend because the doggo was very smart, and the human was proven right. Witnessing Rave’s reaction to seeing her trainer after a long time, warmed Kim’s heart and showed her how special Rave was.
The poodle was definitely over the moon. After seeing this happy reaction, the two humans decided to continue these meetings with hopes of maintaining this beautiful friendship between the trainer and the poodle. After all, Rave deserves to spend time with the person who taught her to be her very best self. Aren’t dogs such grateful and friendly creatures? They never forget those who treat them with kindness and love.
Talking with WhatzViral Kim said, “Nine months after Raven came into my life, I tragically lost my brother, my only sibling. Raven has been my Angel on earth, adding light to every single day, and helping me through my grief.”
