Australian freediver and underwater photographer Kristian Laine. He made the decision to go shooting at Lady Elliot Island, which is part of the Great Barrier Reef, one day. He discovered a rare manta with a rose-colored underbelly, which made the day undoubtedly auspicious. It was the only pink manta ray ever recorded in history!
I was perplexed and believed that my strobes were malfunctioning or acting strangely because I was unaware that there were pink manta rays in the world, Laine said.
These images of this amazing fish are provided.
