Nothing beats capturing the special moments of wild animals for any wildlife photographer. These photos may become “once-in-a-lifetime” in his career and help him make a name for himself. Vclav Ilha, a 55-year-old photographer, did an outstanding job. He recently photographed a lion grinning while mating with its lioness in Kenya’s Massai Mara National Reserve.

The lion is on his hind legs, while the lioness is on the ground.

When the lion prepares to mount its mate, it can be seen smiling happily and proudly with all of its teeth. This facial expression indicates that the lion is highly aroused.

“As soon as the female is ready to mate, she raises her tail and rubs or crawls at his feet to provoke him.” The male follows her impatiently because the female has a strong odor.” Ilha stated

Do you know that the mating session of lions lasts up to 5 days? Lions mate around 200 times with a 20-minute break between each.
