It is not uncommon to see newlyweds and couples walking hand in hand on the beach, adoring their partners and treasuring every moment spent with them. Small gestures such as hugging and hand-holding express a special affection for their significant others, and their hearts are filled with love and joy.
Recently, an old video of a penguin couple walking along a South African beach holding hands went viral. Anyone feeling lonely would be envious of this romantic scene. Some people made amusing remarks about why these sea creatures can’t find partners. As I read these comments, I couldn’t stop laughing.
The couple walks next to each other and even takes a brief pause to exchange glances. For a few moments, time seems to stand still. Nature and animals soften even the most difficult parts of our hearts, and happiness, as it turns out, is simple.
Norma Landeros-Ramirez captured these lovely moments while on her honeymoon with her husband. They were taken aback by the thoughtful gesture of the penguin couple and hoped that they, like the penguins, would be able to spend peaceful days together.
“Because my husband and I are newlyweds, I wanted to see the penguins because I had heard that they keep one partner for life,” Norma explained.
As you may know, penguins are extremely loyal birds, and the bond between male and female penguins is incredibly strong.
