A Woman Adopts an Unwanted Husky with A Tumor That Has Completely Taken Over the Nasal Cavity and Face

Patti Dawson enjoys challenges, according to ilovemydogsomuch. Dallas Dog Rescue Rehab Rehform is headed by Patti Dawson. She takes care of stray dogs. Although the organization was started to save dogs from Dallas, Texas’s streets, it has developed into a rescue facility for dogs who are unlikely to find a home. Recent arrivals from a shelter in San Antonio included one such “final resort” at Dawson’s. Serenity is a husky dog, and what distinguishes her from other huskies is the way she looks. The dog has a large tumor that has progressed from her skull to her eye sockets and nasal passages.

The majority of her facial bones were impacted by the tumor. Serenity gets up, leans over to me with this massive tumor, and bends over like dogs do to kiss my face. Dawson knew Serenity deserved a chance and the best life possible despite the disease. says Dawson. Because she was still alive at that point, I knew we would battle to the death to try to save her.

Serenity has thus far received care from an oncologist, an expert in internal medicine, and an expert in intensive care. She is still able to see, breathe, and eat, but the tumor is incurable. Dawson will continue to adore Serenity and provide for her even if he had hoped for better news.

Serenity recently had a professional photo shoot, and once the pictures went viral, people started bringing treats and gifts to the adorable dog. We hope the best for her!
